When i bought the Z1000, i bought it with a leaking forkseal. No reason not to buy it as it's pretty cheap to fix. Well, turned out the inner fork leg also had a deep scratch that couldn't be polished out so i had to buy new inner fork legs. I waited for a month and a few weeks before i finally had the bike back. The fork legs were ordered in Italy and during the holidays, things don't go very fast over there. I was very happy when they called to say the Kawasaki was ready. I wasn't so happy when i heard what it cost; €500. But, i must mention that it was a quality repair by SO Products, a professional shop that specializes in suspension.
A fun sidenote, while the Z1000 front fork was out of the bike, the bike was just sitting there inside the shop. Lots of customers asked if the kawasaki was for sale, lol. It kinda feels good that people like my bike (unless they want it so bad, they just take it). Now i just need some good weather.
